Prioritising Climate and the Environment in the General Election

The upcoming election will be critical for the environment. The next five years – the likely life of the next government – will be the five years in which we have to make real progress on climate and biodiversity if we are to avoid the worst impacts. These issues cannot be delayed any further. Whatever government gets in must be committed to rapid action. OxFoE have agreed to make this a priority. We hope to see major meetings in every constituency in Oxfordshire where people get the chance to really question all their candidates. Help is needed! We invite anyone who would like to help to get in touch – e-mail us at info@oxfoe.co.uk We are planning a toolkit that will help any group organise a hustings style meeting.
